Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup barley pearled or hulled
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • In a medium pot, bring the barley, water and salt to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 20 mintues for pearled barley and 40 minutes for hulled barley. Check for doneness and serve hot.
